Many members of the school staff were involved in the successful event that took place in our school last Friday 29th to celebrate Halloween, when our first graders had the chance to visit a Tunnel of Terror that we put together. Thank you very much to everybody who got involved for making this day an unforgattable one for our students.

On April 22nd we celebrated International Earth Day. The subjects of Geography and History and Arts, Crafts and Audiovisual Media proposed an interdisciplinary project to raise awareness on the importance of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for the future of our planet, as approved by United Nations in the 2030 Agenda.
The students were split into teams and carried out projects on each of the Sustainable Development Goals, covering topics such as green energy, waste generation or endangered wildlife habitats.
These are some of the resulting works, that include information on each topic and a poster created using the collage technique:
In celebration of International Women's Day on March 8th, the students
of 2.° Bachillerato wrote about Pioneer Women. A "Pioneer Woman" refers
to a woman who has made her mark in history by doing something
extraordinary or revolutionary. The students' reports were posted in the
hallways of the school in order to recognize these important women.
Here you can see some of their work.
Last April 23rd we celebrated World Book Day. Every year, we like to focus on the pleasure of reading and students get involved in different activities. This year, our first and second graders wrote beautiful book reviews on decorated cereal boxes that we have displayed in the school hall. Both students and teachers are loving the exhibit!
Together with many other activities related to the topic of The Environment, this year we asked our students in first of ESO to write a report about the environmental problems of the beaches in Spain. Follow the links to have a look at some of them!:
Our 2nd ESO students have worked on a project to raise awareness on Environmental Issues and Possible Solutions, whereas our 3rd ESO students have used argumentative speech to talk about the theme "The Earth in 15 Years". In both cases, they have used their creativity to make campaign videos by focusing on some of the problems our planet is facing nowadays, such as climate change, sustainability, pollution, endangered species, the greenhouse effect, etc., together with some advice to solve these problems. Here are some examples.
